History of the breed Persian Arabian

This breed is probably even older than the Arabian Thoroughbred. Its origins date back to 2000 BC. Today there are a large number of individual races of this breed. However, in the middle of the 20th century, the equine plague wiped out most of these horses. They were saved in the Khuzestan region, where selective breeding studs were established to preserve the purebred character of the breed.

Physique of the Persian Arabian

The head is of Arabian type with a pointy profile, the neck is arched, the chest is deep. The back is straight and firm, the rump is rounded with a high set tail. The limbs are firm with unexpressive, good joints and hard hooves.

Use of the Persian Arabian

The Persian Arabian is a very fine riding horse. Its strength and stamina make it capable of carrying riders over long distances. This is used in endurance riding competitions.

The Persian Arabian has a similar nature to the Arabian Thoroughbred. It is lively, energetic, unpretentious and hardy. They are lively and intelligent.
