History of the breed Furioso

The breed was bred in the 19th century at the Mezöhegyes stud farm in Hungary. Its ancestors were horses from the stud farm - the nonius mares and two English Thoroughbred stallions, Furioso and North Star. The breed has gained great popularity and today is spread all over Europe.

Physique of the Furioso breed

The head is attractive, thoroughbred type, the neck is muscular. The back is long, the rump is muscular. The limbs are strong with good joints and good hooves. The gills are dense. Coat is brown, pure or black, whites are not present. At the withers they grow to 160 cm.
