This is a dog that looks dignified, beautiful and without any signs of clumsiness or rudeness. His body is longer than his height at withers and his chest is deep and slightly arched at the loin. The head has a flat skull, is long and tapers forward. The small ears, which are neither too near nor too far apart, are laid back when at rest, and when the dog's attention is called, are turned forward and carried half erect. The legs are straight and muscular. The tail is long, low set and erect when excited.
